Company overview
The Company’s business is
the development of optical
waveguide circuit and non-linear optical technologies licensed from the
world-leading Optoelectronics Research Centre at the
The SpectroSens division is focused
on developing biological
and chemical detection solutions for biomedical,
pharmaceutical, security
and process
controll applications. In
parallel the Wavelength
Conversion Division provides a range of individual optical components
and accessories
for wavelength
conversion and complete
laser systems. These wavelength
conversion products yield low-cost, robust solutions for the important
mid-IR
region of the spectrum which is the subject of growing excitement for
chemical
detection, spectroscopy and laboratory use. The PPLN crystals also
provide an
efficient and cost-effective method of converting the wavelength of low
cost
lasers to wavelengths that are more difficult to access in the blue and
visible
light ranges. Applications include biomedical fluorescence, and
displays.
