Covesion’s extensive portfolio of PPLN and MgO:PPLN nonlinear optical crystals for high efficiency wavelength conversion will be on display at the forthcoming SPIE Photonics West Exhibition and Conference 2022, being held on the 22nd – 27th January at The Moscone Center, San Francisco in California.
“We are very much looking forward to seeing our colleagues and customers again at Photonics West after what has been a very strange time for us all,” comments Mike Day, CEO at Covesion. “We have been fortunate in that our extensive R&D program has been able to continue during lockdown and are excited to be able to share recent findings and new product developments with our customers.”
Included in the new products to be demonstrated at SPIE Photonics West 2022 are Covesion’s Component Waveguides developed for researchers and OEM’s who require reliable output power from a few mW to over 2W. The new Component Waveguide range is also fully compatible with the OC2 and OC3 temperature controllers and are available in fibre in/fibre out and fibre in/free space out formats at 1560 nm pump.
Mike continues: “We are also delighted to invite our customers to come and meet new members of the team including Dr Stuart Coomber, Head of Sales who together with Dr RongRong Xu will be on hand throughout the exhibition to help with any technical enquiries or provide expert advice on how our PPLN technology may be suitable for particular applications.”
The exhibition will also showcase Covesion’s off-the-shelf PPLN crystals as well as their extensive range of MgO:PPLN waveguides in chip and ruggedized packaged formats. The stand will also display Covesion’s range of accessories including their unique PPLN crystal clips, ovens, temperature controllers and mounting accessories, providing users with a complete PPLN system for easy integration into optical arrangements.
