Our MOPO3 MgO:PPLN Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) crystals are designed for continuous wavelength generation throughout the 1430nm to 4185nm range from a 1064nm pump laser.
These crystals can also be used for other applications such as optical parametric generation and optical parametric amplification.

For high stability temperature control, the Covesion OC2 is a compact stand-alone bench-top unit for use with our PPLN oven range.
For fixed wavelength applications PPLN should be maintained at a constant operating temperature for maximum conversion efficiency. In tunable wavelength applications the temperature of the crystal can be adjusted for fine wavelength tuning.
