Covesion’s 1mm long PPLN crystals can be used without temperature control and at room temperature for femtosecond frequency doubling at around 1550nm. The PCMO01 post mount adapter is designed to hold a PC01 clip kit for 1mm long crystals, and be compatible with standard optics posts, which are widely available at optomechanics suppliers. These popular post assemblies provide a robust solution for PPLN crystal mounting.

Features:

  • PC01 clip kit secured with two nylon tipped grub screws.
  • M3 threaded hole.
  • Each PCMO01 is supplied with an M3 to M4 thread adapter.

The PCMO01 allows simple and robust alignment with a small footprint and will suit almost any optical height using Ø1/2” or Ø1” post assemblies widely available at Thorlabs, Newport, CVI Melles Griot, etc. They can also be incorporated into dovetail translation stages for fine adjustment through the PPLN gratings.

  • Example Mounting Solutions:
    • M3 threaded hole allows fixture to Ø1/2” post assemblies
    • M3 to M4 thread adapter allows fixture to Ø1” post assemblies
    • M4 post assemblies can be fixed on to dovetail translation stages for alignment through all available gratings, as well as fine adjustment through a grating aperture
